Adair County, Missouri
Founded in 1841, Adair County is nestled in the rolling hills of northeastern Missouri. Named after Kentucky Governor John Adair, the county has a rich legacy of pioneer families, educational institutions, and agricultural development. Kirksville, the county seat, remains a cultural and historical hub, home to Truman State University and a vibrant community dedicated to preserving its past.
