Odessa (BDO) mailing list is for anyone with a genealogical interest in

Beresan Colonies which were made up of Germans who immigrated to
Russia, beginning in the first decade of the 19th century, at
the request of Alexander I, Tsar of Russia. The Colonies were located
Northeast of the city of Odessa on the Black Sea. To
