TRACING HISTORY BACK TO 1825 is the Fawks family who held a reunion as shown in this
photograph taken at their home in Prairie Hill. L.O. McAdam furnished the picture (with beard), as
Edward Harold Fawks, son of Levi Fawks who came to Missouri in 1825.

The photo was taken next door to the McAdams home piace in Prairie Hill and the front row
shows members of the Grey family. The Zumwalt family is among those included and at far right is
Uncle Pettis Sears, a pioneer Baptist preacher.

Mr. McAdam, who lives at 1236 Saturn Springs Drive in Garland, Texas is working up a
genealogy of the Fawks family and will appreciate correspondence from those who have information
on the descendants.
