We are glad to learn that Miss Nannie Price of three miles
southeast of Keytesville was duly elected
last week by the unanimous vote of the board of managers
of the Industrial Home for Girls at
Chillicothe to the position she had held temporarily
for two weeks previous, she having shown to
the satisfaction of all concerned in the two weeks' trial,
that she was an excellent housekeeper while
the splendid dinner furnished the board on the 2nd inst.,
gotten up under her supervision, attested
to her skill in the culinary art. Mrs. Camilla Forqueran
of Salisbury was at the same time elected to
the position of 'relief officer' and those best acquainted
with her say she is well qualified for the position.
