It is ordered by the court here that the petition of William S. McClanahan as administrator of the estate of Christopher Gose deceased for the sale of so much of the real estate belonging to said deceased as will be sufficient to pay the debts of said deceased, be received and filed.

William S. McClanahan administrator of the estate of Christopher Gose deceased presents to the court here his petition praying for an order for the sale of so much of the real estate of said deceased as will pay and satisfy the remaining debts due by said estate and yet unpaid for the want of sufficient assets, accompanied by the lists and inventories ? by law in such case or examination whereof. It is ordered that all persons interested in the estate of said deceased be notified that application of aforesaid has been made, and that unless the contrary be shown on or before the first day of the first day of the next Term of this court, to be held on the first Monday in March next, an order will be made for the sale of the whole or so much of the real estate of said deceased as will be sufficient to pay the debts of said deceased, and it is further ordered that public notice hereof be given by ten written advertisements put up in ten public places in Linn County at least twenty days before the next term of this court.

McClanahan as administrator of the estate of said deceased, sell at the April Term of the circuit court of Linn County and State of Missouri, to be ? and held on the first Monday in April A.D. 1856 before the County house down in the town of Linneus in the County of Linn and State of Missouri, on this first day of said Term and while said circuit court is in session, all the right, title and interest of said deceased in and to the following described real estate belonging to the estate of said deceased ?. Twenty acres the east half of the SE cr of the SE cr of Sec 15 in Township 59 of Range 21 also forty acres the North ½ of the East ½ of the SW cr of Sec 15 in township 59 of Range twenty one at public auction to the highest and best bidder. ? a credit of twelve months the purchaser ? to five hand with app security for the purchase money and to get a deed when the purchase money is paid.

That public notice of said sale be given by ten written advertisements put up at ten public places in Linn County twenty days before the day of sale.

Crampton Jr. as Securities, are held and firmly bound unto the State of Missouri, in the full and just sum of Five Hundred Dollars, to the payment whereof, well and truly to be made, we bind ourselves, our heirs, executors, administrators and assigns, jointly and severally, firmly by these presents.

The Condition of the above Bond is, That if E.M. Ghost Administrator of the Estate of C.H. Inventory of all the Real and Personal Estate of C.H. Gose deceased, lat of Linn County, Missouri, describing the quantity, situation and title of the Real Estate, the books and papers, the debts due to the said deceased, the names of the debtors, the dates of the contracts, the amount of interest due, and the rate of interest thereon, and all personal property of whatsoever character. Made by E.M. Gose Administrator of said deceased and R.N. West and Jack Phillips witnesses appointed to aid in making the same.

Know all men by these presents that we William Gose as principal and William S. McClanahan and Daniel Keithley as his securities acknowledge ourselves to owe and be indebted to the State of Missouri for the use and benefit of Simon, Asro, Enslow, Millissa J. & John M. Gose minor heirs of Mary H. Gose deceased in the penal sum of one thousand dollars, for the payment of which will and truly to be made, we find ourselves our heirs executors and administrators jointly and severally and firmly by these presents sealed with our seals and dated this 12th day of May AD 1855.

The condition of the above bond is such that whereas the said William Gose was on the 14th day of May AD 1855 by the Probate Judge of Linn County in the State of Missouri appointed Guardian of the persons and curator of the property of Simon aged about twelve years, Asro aged about ten years, Enslow aged about eight years, Millissa J. aged about six years and John M. Gose aged about three years, Minor heirs of Mary H. Gose deceased. Now if the said William Gose as said guardian shall faithfully discharge his duties according to law, then this obligation to be void otherwise to reverse in full force and virtue.

Witness, our hands and seals, this 4th day of December A.D. 1855.

The condition of the above bond is, that if the said William S. McClanahan administrator of the estate of William Gose deceased, shall faithfully administer said estate, account for, pay and deliver all money and property of said estate, and perform all other things touching said administration required by law, or the order or decree of any court having jurisdiction, then the above bond to be void, otherwise to remain in full force.
