MORAN
The Laclede Blade, June 14, 1935 issue
Mrs. E. J. Moran, a resident of this
city for a number of years, passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ward
Wilson, Blue Mound, with whom she has made her home for the past several years,
after about eight weeks of illness. She departed this life at 12:45 A.M. Monday
June 10 near Blue Mound. Elizabeth Jane
Cornett was born November 21, 1861 near Browning. She was united in
marriage to L. M. Stufflebean March 29, 1883. To this
union eight children were born, four of whom preceded her in death. She was
then united in marriage to George Moran September 4, 1913. She leaves to mourn
her loss four daughters, Mrs. Allie Jimmerson of
Brookfield, Mrs. Bertha Robison of Meadville, Mrs. Frank King of Laclede, and
Mrs. Ward Wilson of Dawn. Three of the daughters were at the mother's bedside
but Mrs. Jimmerson was unable to attend her on
account of serious illness. She also leaves four grand children; Francis King,
William Robison, John Robison and Mrs. Della Shultz and two great grand
children. Funeral services were held at
