Winter, Harriet and William.

William Winter was born in Ousby, Cumberland, England in 1823 & immigrated to the US in 1848 & was naturalized. I haveyet to be able to find out when & where he was naturalized. He married Harriett Mantle Wakefield in Linn Co., MO. in 1870. He & Harriett appear in the 1880 Yellow Creek Twp., Linn Co., MO. Census. Harriett is in the 1870 Yellow Creek Twp., Linn Co., MO. Census but not William Winter. I am looking for any other shred of info. that might help with further research. William's obit. says he traveled extensively.

I show 3 transactions involving 2 pieces of property:

    1. Aug. 9, 1876 GENERAL WARRANTY DEED Between Reuben Nague/Rosella Nague and William Winter - All the West half of the North East quarter of Section Fifteen (15) in Township fifty seven (57) North in Range nineteen West Containing eighty acres be the same more or less;
    2. Aug. 8, 1891 TRUSTEE'S DEED UNDER SALE Louisa Hughes / Bernard Tillman & Wm. Winter - The South half of the North East Quarter of Section Twenty-two (22) in Township Fifty Seven (57) North in Range Nineteen (19) West Eighty (80) acres be the same more or less; and,
    3. Then on Nov. 15, 1898 it looks like William & Harriett Winter deeded half (40 acres) of this section in "2" above to a son John H. Winter. GENERAL WARRANTY DEED - Between William Winter & Harriett Winter and John H. Winter- The South West quarter of the North East Quarter of Section Twenty-two in the Township fifty seven (57) in Range Nineteen (19) West Forty acres more or less.

I'm trying to find out is if there happens to be a home still on the property & whether it would be possible to get pictures. And would be willing to pay for any ones assistance.
